Aloguinsan Cebu

I and some friends had the chance to visit Lunhaw Farm Resort, Bojo River, and Hermit's Cove in Aloguinsan town last week. And again this isn't a travel blog so I'm not gonna put in details what we did there. 😜😜😜 BOJO RIVER Lunch before the river cruise.  My sisters in Christ 💓 So the cruise begins... We're actually shaking at this time. The water current is strong and I guess January isn't a good time to swim. The staff and tour guides were so accommodating and friendly. They take care of you so much that you wouldn't want to go home. Kudos to Aloguinsan Municipality for training your people to be the best! HERMIT'S COVE Right after Bojo river, we headed straight to Hermit's cove which is just about ten minutes away by car. The place is also clean. The locals are really disciplined.  They have rules that us, tourists or visitors, must adhere to. So please respect! You have to go down the long sta...

A No Cellphone Day in Cebu

Just a few days ago when the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) agreed to shut down mobile phone signals and mobile data or wifi in Cebu today and tomorrow (for safety reasons). 😁 Well, not really for the entire province but only in Metro Cebu. But, it's something to celebrate! Please check this link to know more... 🙉 I don't want to discuss further coz that's not my job 😁 In the advent of social media and the easy access of internet almost everywhere. We've been bugged with our mobile phones that even while crossing the road, we're tap-tap-ing  ( pardon the word, me dunno the term ) our phone screens. And we've even lost the real meaning of communication. 😞 Hope these pictures paint a thousand words. 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵 Need I say more? I'm not an exception to this 😎 Instead of going gaga over not having phone signals and not being able to flood posts on SNS, just consider it a good chance for you and your love...

HE is Faithful

Deuteronomy 11:11-12English Standard Version (ESV) 11 But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, 12 a land that the Lord your God cares for. The eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. 💗💗💗 When you promised this, I lacked the faith. But every day, you gave me all the reasons to believe in you more and rest in your faithfulness. I couldn't say much but FAVORED! 💓 When I took the exam you knew how panicked I was especially answering the MAJOR / SPECIALIZATION part. But after that, you gave me confidence and peace. As I was waiting for the result, you kept telling me to relax coz you've given me this. 😉 So all the glory be to you Lord. I can't do anything apart from you. Despite my stubbornness, disobedience, and pride, you have remained faithful. I have nothing to boast. YOU deserve all the ...

Always a Fan of Miriam

How my heart breaks for your passing. I've always been and will always be a fan. Whenever a news about you flashes on TV I would jump on my feet and occupy that corner near the TV. But the news of your death made my knees quiver. If it was not for the fact that I was at work when a friend told me of the news, my tears would have been falling. I remembered doing a report about famous people in Region VI where your hometown (Iloilo) belongs. I talked a lot about you and intentionally spared little time for others.Your achievements are always remarkable. Your contribution to strengthen our constitution, your advocacy to fight and stop graft and corruption, your funny quirks during senate hearings, your straight-to-the-point criticisms, your fearless exposes. I believe all are genuine. It's no wonder why you are dubbed as The Iron Lady of Asia and bias aside, you're the only one who deserves to call somebody "STUPID!" to his face. You have ...
