Finally!
For someone as OC as me when it comes to planning, going on a trip is really a pain in the ass. That is why any interruption, especially of human, during the trip would cause me frustration.
To cut it short, (hahaha) I and Mother M went on a trip in Dumaguete and Siquijor. This isn't a travel blog so I'm not gonna put in details what we did there. (hihi) I'll be showing you some photos with a short caption (I'll try) to keep you craving for more details and eventually decide to visit the places. (evilest laugh)
DUMAGUETE
For me it's a half city, half countryside. Everything you need is accessible. Less pollution. Friendly people. Good food. Siliman University, Rizal Boulevard, and Sans Rival are close to each other. So you can just stroll around for less than an hour.

Because obligatory. Hahahaha. |
Oh I just love this vintage bus of Silliman parked just near the gate. To get that photo we pleaded manong guard to sneak in just for a few minutes. Kasi daw bawal mosulod nga walay permit. Tss tss. |
RIZAL BOULEVARD
3 rounds of ice cream! hahaha lami ilang ice cream didto doh!
I had to try this! |
SANS RIVAL
I should've taken a photo with Rep. Shalani Soledad but my pride says NO. hahahaha.
She was simply beautiful and naturally kind. They were in Dumaguete for a campaign. |
We paired this with a vanilla drink. HAHAHA. Bogets! Puro sweet. |
Mandatory pasalubong for the family. Lami kaayo! |
This is our fave resto near the hotel. It isn't so pricey and the food is just yummy enough.
But the service is over over amazing! |
Because we don't tip. hihi. I just made this for the crew. Hohoho |
City plaza. Nothing special really. |
SIQUIJOR
Honestly, like any other Cebuano, I've heard countless rumors about the island's mystery. Some say it's the home of supernatural beings and witchcraft. It's also called
"Isla del Fuego" or the Island of Fire coz at night the island is filled with fireflies. So when you look at it from a distance, all you can see is the glow from the fireflies.
As we got closer and closer to the island... Wow!!! my jaw dropped!!! Way char! ( I couldn't stop saying "OMG!" like 1,ooo,ooox) I highly recommend you to visit Siquijor.
Oh clear blue sea! |
Port Area |
Behind is the St. Francis de Assisi church. |
Inside the church. Go Mother M! |
Old Balete Tree
Behind, you can see some tourists enjoying fish spa. |
Lazi Convent
I'm actually a freak when it comes to historical sites so it took us a while to leave the place because I roamed around and did a time travel. Hahahaha. The smell of the old wooden floors. The picture frames. The furniture. My gaaaaaddddd! |
It's kinda creepy walking on the floors coz it would make a squeaking sound. Hihi. But it was fun. |
The grand staircase and my grandmother, I mean mother M! Haaayyys! |
See the inside? You would love it there! There's actually a museum in the next room but we can't take photos (and there's an entrance fee too) So I just took a sneak peek. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. |
OMG! Look at those furniture! Hahaha ako lang ba ang naka appreciate? |
Across the convent is the San Isidro Labrador Parish. |
Cambugahay Falls
Clear. |
We had to take a few steps down to reach the falls. |

Hi mga chicks! hahahaha. |
La la la la! La la la la! |
That's it. Those are just some of the photos we took during the trip. We didn't really took a lot of photos coz we wanted to enjoy the places more. And I think that's the real essence of travelling.
By the way we missed the bus going back to Cebu and had to wait for 6 hours for the next one. And that's the reality of travelling.
As I said, I dislike interruptions, I had no choice but to change my attitude and respond nicely to the situation. Chars. So we did unwanted strolling.
Last words:
UNDENIABLY, UNFORGETTABLE, AMAZING TRIP TO AMAZING PLACES CRAFTED BY AN AMAZING GOD! THANK YOU JESUS!
