"Bababa babananana bababa babanana..." It was loud enough to wake me up. Of course, I put my phone under my pillow and set it on full volume.

I jumped off my bed, paused for a quiet time, said a prayer, and headed to the bathroom.

Because I live in a typical house, I got no shower. I was staring at that pail of water. I touched the water. Man! That was cold! Again, I live in a typical house I got no heater.
I went back to my room and put on clothes. A navy blue polo shirt - ironed, faded black jeans, dark green sandals, and silver watch. I picked up my black sling bag with stuff I prepared last night.
3:52
I sat next to the dining table and prepared myself a coffee and a piece of bread with margarine sometimes cheese or mayo. These I think are enough for a day's routine.
I went out from the house and started walking until I would reach the next street.

I was the only one walking on the road. I can only hear kroo-kroos, twit-twits, and woosh-woosh. I just loved the serenity.
I finally reached the main street where I saw a street cleaner and a sickly dog. The bakeshop in the corner street is already open and early customers are on queue.
4:16
Happy to see a tricycle heading. I then got myself a ride. I'm heading to the highway where I can ride a jeepney. Few motorists are on the road. The signal lights call for traffic freedom.
4:20
From the unloading spot I walked few steps to the next loading area and will wait for a jeepney. But, I walked passed a taho vendor and I cannot afford not to buy one. Taho, always a favorite.
4:26
Here comes the jeepney, I stepped in. Inside, mostly are people from the wet market. Some smelled cigars, some smelled sweat, and some smelled fish.
I put on my earphone. 20 minutes in the jeep heading to the office that's four Planetshakers on my playlist.
The city highway unlike the barangay main street has more vehicles and motorists. The traffic lights are stiff.
4:46am
Dropped off. I gotta walk for another seven minutes to reach the building.
"Good morning" I greeted the guard on duty. On the elevator, I pressed 3. The door opened. I hurried to get my time card. Tok! 4:55.
Greeted the people around, walked towards my cubicle, sat on the comfy swivel chair, put down my earphone, hung my bag on the hook, and turned on my PC. In less than two minutes, I'll start a ten hour waiting, sitting, and what I love the best, teaching.
5:00am. This is my morning.
daily routine... BOW!
