After visiting the Batak Tribe in Nanabu Roxas, we took the chance to explore El Nido and Puerto Princesa. Who wouldn't want to take that chance to see another masterpiece? 😍😍 tour about to start Clear waters. This is my favorite spot of the boat.💦 I always see to it that I swim, swim, swim. Don't leave Palawan without swimming and snorkeling but don't touch the fish, don't destroy their place. We're just visitors. 😍 Food. Seafood. Shrimp. I'm a shrimp-er so don't blame for eating a lot.🌊 Puerto Princesa in Three Hours From El Nido, we arrived in Puerto after dark and has planned nothing the next day noting that our flight is at eight. So Ate Bing suggested that we do a city tour. Goodness gracious one of us was able to get the contact number of the tricycle driver we rode in that night. 😼 Yes. A tricycle is all you need. The Batak Tribe in Nanabu, Roxas is one of the many tribes in the mountains of Palawan. Going there from the highway takes about five hours except if you ride a motorcycle which takes you just about two hours. But motorcycle isn't always available. You need to contact a local to meet you down. What led us there? We were invited by a friend, Ate Bing, to take part in the tribe's foundation day. Perhaps she was thinking that maybe we can help in our own little ways. True enough, we had to squeeze that creative juices in us for the mass wedding preparation. 😀 Through a local Christian church headed by Ptr. Joseph and other volunteers, they held a mass wedding for the tribe. Members of the tribe usually marry as early as 12 years old in accordance to their tradition. Parents choose their daughters husband. Most young girls marry boys twice or thrice their age. A local church in Puerto Princesa also went there to volunteer for the foundation day. I and some friends had the chance to visit Lunhaw Farm Resort, Bojo River, and Hermit's Cove in Aloguinsan town last week. They take care of you so much that you wouldn't want to go home. Kudos to Aloguinsan Municipality for training your people to be the best!
